Thank you so much for visiting my page. My name is Eric Targe and I am a pastor in Chicago at Park Community Church (Near North) and an adjunct professor at Moody Bible Institute. I am married to my best friend Rebecca and together we have two amazing children through whom we are regularly blessed and stressed. As a pastor who preaches most Sundays, teaches in the academy during the week, and meets regularly with people for discipleship and pastoral counseling, I love the intersection of the pulpit, the armchair, and the academy. My hope is that this page will regularly seek to integrate these interests.

The views in my ponderings are my own and do not necessarily represent Park Community Church or Moody Bible Institute. If you have thoughts, please share them. I deeply appreciate dialogue.
Regarding my POETRY, this is something I simply enjoy. If I posted it, it’s because I hoped that it might edify and encourage you. If not, that’s okay.
Lastly, my PRAYERS– About a decade ago I began collecting books of prayers to aid me in my calling out to God. Regularly I found that the thoughts of other saints in addressing our Lord were the words and phrases that I was grasping for but could not find. As one saint to another, I hope some of my prayers might be of help to you.
